This creature is a gigantic mass of razor-sharp, steel-colored scale covering knotted ropes of musculature. Its eyes are blazing motes of fire and tendrils of smoke rise from its body.
Ukkuhr-Makhai (Ooo-cur-Mak-eye) is the common name given for one of the three Great Dragons that exist within the Nexal planes. Loosely translated from the lost Stygian language of Ohrmurrah, Ukkuhr-Makhai means "Elder Fire Tongue."
One legend states that Ukkuhr-Makhai was once a pet of Tlacolotl while another (slightly more plausible) story indicates that the dragon is a "splinter" of Tholaghru's flesh. Regardless of the truth, Ukkuhr-Makhai is a creature of pure hatred and violence and roams the plane of Stygia seeking to slake its lust for violence.

[edit] Powers and Abilities
[edit] Multiple Attack Types
Ukkuhr-Makhai has multiple attack types:
- A Minor Fire Breath that deals Fire damage
- A Tail Slash that deals Slashing damage
- A Bite attack that deals Piercing damage
- An Area of Effect breath weapon that deals Fire damage (50 per-damage, 1000 max, 80% to hit) (Unsoakable)
- An Area of Effect stomp attack that inflicts Dragon Fear (10% dodge penalty and a 10 point soak penalty to those affected, lasting 1 minute), drains 5 Magic Points from the affected, and deals a 20 perdamage Nexal attack to those hit. It attacks everyone.
[edit] Immunities
Being a creature of the Elder Powers, Ukkuhr-Makhai is immune to the following damage types:
- Fire
- Death
- Holy
- Unholy
Ukkuhr-Makhai possesses a soak of 10 points for all damage types he is not immune to.
Additionally, Ukkuhr-Makhai is possessed of an innate spell reflection ability. Spells targeted at the Great Dragon will have a chance to reflect back upon the caster, dealing full damage - even if the caster is normally immune to that type of damage. Soak is still applied, however.
Ukkuhr-Makhai, being a creature deeply tied with the Elder Powers, generates a dampening field about itself which renders the innate Dark Oppressor Stygian bonus only partially effective. Only the Dark Oppressor's soak and defense bonuses are effective versus the dragon; the to-hit and damage bonuses are cancelled by the dragon's magicks.
[edit] Regeneration
Ukkuhr-Makhai is possessed of extraordinary regenerative capabilities. The dragon regains 40 Hit Points every pet tick.
Additionally, damage dealt by the dragon is immediately used to heal itself (in a manner similar to Blood Taste or the feasting of a Ghoul), however the damage healed is twice the damage dealt. Furthermore, the dragon is able to gain Hit Points above his maximum with this ability.
[edit] Death
If killed, the dragon's soul is powerful enough that it will eventually reform its body. Ukkuhr-Makhai makes his home in Stygia and will not leave there.
[edit] Other
Ukkuhr-Makhai is an extremely cunning and intelligent combatant. It has the ability to see invisible characters and is capable of attacking flying characters. However, Ukkuhr-Makhai cannot see hidden characters. All attacks are considered magical, and thus it will attack targets using Wisp Form or Cloak of Air.
It will never attack pets, knowing that the path to their destruction is the death of the master.
[edit] Killing Ukkuhr-Makhai
The process of killing the Great Dragon is a monumental undertaking - one worthy of some of the largest and most co-ordinated factions. It is a very difficult task, but it is not without its rewards.
Being involved in a party that successfully slays Ukkuhr-Makhai will earn the character one, two, or even three Achievement badges, as well as a certain amount of Character Points and Experience Points.
- Each character involved in the dragon slaying will earn 10 Character Points, 500 Experience Points, and the Wyrm Foe badge.
- The character who lands the killing blow will earn an additional 15 Character Points, an additional 500 Experience Points, and the Dragonslayer badge (in addition to the benefits for being part of the raid)
- The character who deals the most damage to the dragon will earn an additional 20 Character Points, a further 1,000 Experience Points, and the coveted Dragon's Bane badge.
These benefits will be applied even if the character is killed in the battle.
Further, the Faction who deals the most total damage to the dragon will earn 50 points of honor.
Note that if the dragon manages to heal to full health at any time, all data about who has done damage to the dragon will be erased (since all effort to that point has been for naught).
