[edit] Unit 8 - Goros

Unit 8 - Goros. A previously secret unaligned task unit, sent back into the Nexus at the will of Goros himself, and part of a combined plan forged by the neutral Elders.

[edit] The first of 3 Units enters the Nexus

At somepoint during every great war, the Elders are known to send in scouts, or units, in order to get a better idea of exactly how the battle is going. They can see all, and can often appear themselves in the Nexus, but that's not always enough. To get a purer perception of how the battle is being played out, their own closest disciples are almost always sent into the Nexus, each carrying a part of their Elders awareness. Then, once the Elders have lived and breathed through their disciples for a period of time, more accurate moves can be made against their opponents.

On the innermost plane of neutrality a deadlock had arrived, because Goros, the ascendant in the last war, wanted his unit sent out in the early phases of the battle. Marquai and Hashaa had disagreed to send theirs so early, and for one unit to go into the Nexus alone was something that hadn't happened for many wars. After days of waiting, it was finally agreed that Unit 8-M, and Unit 8-H, of Marquai and Hashaa, would not join Unit 8-G, and that 8-G would go in first. Maybe it was Goros that had perceived something the other two hadn't, or it was a ripple of imbalance, of karma, in the mind of Goros that had brought him to this decision, but he summoned his unit, sent them onto the inner plane of Nifleheim, and fully believed that once units 8-M and 8-H eventually arrived, the 3 sets of disciples would be together again, with his own having given the neutral Elders a headstart in their operations.

When the other 2 units would arrive however, only Marquai and Hashaa could know.

[edit] Members

To those wondering what's needed to join : being a Goros cultist is enough. We'd like members to be good in some area, like infusing or raiding, for example, but that's only what we'd like. There's no way we'd turn any Goros cultist away unless there was sometype of known problem with the player using the char.

For new members and/or anyone seeking factional relations (note! - we don't ally with good or evil factions. The most you could expect in this area would be an non-attacking agreement or something. All unaligned factions will be added as friendly automatically though.) : http://s11.invisionfree.com/Unit_8_G/
