[edit] Unofficial Newbie Tips by Infested
This will be a list of tips and things of common sense that I've found or come up with. People may add to this list, but keep it sensible. I'll try to add to this as often as possible. All information may change subject to updates.
- Don't respawn unless you can support the AP to not go into the negatives
- Plan your character out. Characters that are thrown together tend to be weaker than a well-thought out one.
- Divine Armor trumps any real armor
- Your faction is your friend, trust them. What you put in should be what you get back.
- Demon classes usualy lean towards the Hand To hand Combat skill trees.
- When you are not a demon, it is always a good idea to have some sort of healing item on hand to cure defiler poison.
- Each weapon has a strength and weakness. Fists cost nothing to use and never break, but guns do more damage, get broken and take ammo.
- AOE does not give experience
- Hide will help you to survive longer
- Spells cost CP to learn
- Swim is worthless
- If you are a revenant, try not to run around during the day
- When on a raid, take care not to attack allies.
- When you do not have sense magic every bottle of strange liquid could hurt or harm you
- Chainsaws are the most damaging melee item, but they are the only melee item that takes fuel
- Food restores 2-3 HP normally, but compared to FAK's, usualy isn't as good.
- The skill search can be helpful in finding all sorts of items
- Boxing doesn't affect bloodclaws
- Fire is the weakest type of magic
- Do not sleep right outside of faction strongholds.
- Sleeping outside an enemy or hostile faction stronghold is even more stupid
- Sleeping in a resource building (especially gun stores and factories) is a really bad idea
- Taking a portal to San Cristobal Prison, and then getting stuck because your ran out of MP is not a smart idea.
- Dark Oppressors in Stygia are almost untouchable, especialyl in live combat.
- Slums offer the highest hide rate
- Places without power offer a lower search rate, but higher hide rate
- Don't use bloodclaws on advocates
- Portals Take MP to use
- Lava hurts
- Running around in Paradise without planar protection equals good healing XP for yoru factionmates.
- Raids are usually a good source of XP
- Myrmidons are impossible to hide from.
- So are voidwalkers and seraphs
- Hospitals are not a good place for evil characters to hide
- Attack the pets before you attack the pet owner. Pets are much more dangerous, especially in numbers
- When attacked by tentacles of G'nak, run, they can't follow
- Don't lock your stronghold door

A small bit that I enjoyed: (Warning, real spoilers) Warning: The following text might contain spoilers. This makes the article more aerodynamic, and thus more maneuverable at high speeds. Take caution and carry a first-aid kit at all times if you don't know that Snape kills Dumbledore, Rosebud is a sled, Old Yeller dies, the chick in The Crying Game is a dude, the Narrator is Tyler Durden, the whole show was a dream in an autistic kid's head, Exdeath kills Galuf, Kratos betrays Lloyd for Cruxis and then betrays Cruxis for Lloyd, Henry Gale is Him, they find Nemo, Hitler loses the war, Jason is really Superman's son, and Soylent Green is PEOPLE!!!

Will update later.
