I like writing fiction. I get to make my own rules and screw around with things in ways I see fit. I get to tell a story on my terms and express my creativity, frustrations, and general thoughts in a fun way. I'll often write pieces just for the hell of it. Usually they are short stories that are able to stand alone by themselves.

[edit] A Rogue's Tale
This project is much larger than any other I've done before. It will consist of several chapters and will center around Mika, but will likely include various other characters of mine. The story itself asks what will happen when the Elder Powers decide a winner. It is my belief that they wouldn't concern themselves with their pawns, and would simply abandon them to fend for themselves. Eventually they die out on their own and the Nexus is free for the next struggle to take place in.

True story! Bowman was joining Balance on a hunt to kill the Troll, and by the time we got there, we found that members of the Forgotten Union were gathering as well! The combined efforts took down the troll, and we all had a big laugh about it even though the two groups were enemies.

[edit] The Autopsy Report with Doctor Mederan
I thought of this one on my way to class. The thought of Mederan playing preforming an autopsy amused me, but then the thought crossed my mind making me wonder what would happen if he has been a lich so long, he's forgotten how to tell if someone is alive.

This is a short I wrote about Iric. In the story, he studies the ancient language Ohrmurrah, and attempts to speak with Ukkuhr-Makhai. I was very pleased by the way it turned out.

This fiction speaks about the history behind Lan. Lan's true name is actually Landon Clark, and he was a military officer during a war before the Nexus. I never really worked out what war, but the general idea is that he is from an era where the sword was the weapon of choice. Middle ages maybe? I dunno, I should open a history book sometime.

This writing was inspired by real in-game events. I look back and I have to laugh, the Jon Grail/Drell fight had slipped my mind. This fiction focuses around Drell.
The real events were simple, Drell recaptured the standard for the Defenders of the Nifty from the stronghold of the Damned Librarians. Went back home, and rebuilt the stronghold. Hours later, the ward was broken down by Jon Grail, a Zealot whom had been Drell's rival back when he was defending the young mortals in the vault. Grail tried and failed to kill Drell, but he left his Carbon Core active. Its not easy taking down a maxed out Divine champion when the Carbon Core is still active, but its possible.

[edit] Wandering Diaries
The Wandering Diaries are an ongoing thing that Wanderer will write. He often will leave copies in-game, but, sometimes he makes some on the forum. This thread talks about when he started hopping from faction to faction using those invites he collected. However, I stopped writing them on the forum after a while. What a shame, ehh?
[edit] A girl and her jellyfish
Focuses on Aura and her pet jellyfish Squeeky. Don't ask why she has a pet jellyfish, its kinda complicated.
All right, fine. Aura was created with the intent of her being my main role playing character. Everything she did was done for in-character reasons. She would read in the northern Vault of Enlightenment for the greater part of her leveling. Every day, I would spend roughly 10 AP just chatting with people who were there. It was good fun.
One of the people who Aura met, was Naga. Naga eventually accepted Aura as her sidekick, and Aura was following her throughout the Nexus. At one point, Naga had gotten nice and drunk, and accidentally summoned a bunch of jellyfish. Naturally, Aura picked one up, hugged it, and named it Squeeky. (Yes, the proper name is a mis-spelling of the word "Squeaky", this is intentional)
The characters of Aura and Squeeky panned out to reveal that Squeeky is the one with the magical powers even though Aura is credited with being the Wizard. The two of them are best friends, and are inseparable.

This was actually an early experiment of mine. It shifts the focus throughout various characters. I was trying to develop their characters and ended up with several short blurbs providing a glance into their everyday lives.

Not really a fiction so much as it is a travel brochure. I had to design it for a class I was taking at college, and I figured I'd pop it onto the forum. Most of the text used on the pages comes from the wiki. I used the pages Liana Island, Corpus Island, and Pie Day for the project.

Feel free to ignore this bit. I'm the mod for the Wiki flavour texts forum, and I'm suppose to keep the polls and entries running. But, I don't. However when I do, I should be taking care not to run the same fictions twice until every skill has been covered. So, this list is to keep track of what skills have not been done yet for me.
