All these guys existed in Alpha with different profile numbers, and are putting in reappearances:

Asmodeus - an evil 30th-level Void Walker (The Infernal Horde)
Mortal / Pariah / Void Walker

Asmodeus is an ancient and enigmatic figure whose true motives are a mystery even to his fellow demons. Many have found him to be unusually polite and friendly for a demon, although some have learned the hard way that he is more than capable of ripping someone to shreds while maintaining cheerful, pleasant banter and a smile on his face. Was briefly a member of the now-disbanded Oblivion Sanctorum. Having completed his study of the Lore of Haldon, he now pursues even more obscure schemes. Over his time Lore-hunting, struck up a friendship with a young Nexal denizen named Mariah.

Azalin - a morally questionable Male-Aspected 30th-level Lich (Magi Anonymous)
Mortal / Sorcerer / Lich

Azalin was a lich trapped in another demiplane of existence and cursed by the powers controlling it, who after centuries of frustration finally found a way to escape, leaving his body behind and allowing his disembodied soul to snatch up one of the unsuspecting residents of the Nexus. While he quickly realized that this plane, too, was a prison of sorts, he was at least free of his curse and could pursue learning new spells and knowledge. Despite his original intentions of keeping his research to himself, he became the Archmage of Magi Anonymous and soon realized the benefits of the position. These days he is retired from the leadership of MA, and spends most of his days raising a large army of King Rudolphus-impersonating ghouls, occasionally taking days off to read a book or two, or to indulge in large amounts of canned food.

Inajira - an evil Male-Aspected 30th-level Dark Oppressor (The Claw)
Mortal / Defiler / Dark Oppressor

A Demon who seems to have followed Azalin to the Nexus, Inajira is apparently working on some secret agenda of his own. Carries a large leatherbound tome which he can occasionally be seen making careful notations in. Like most members of the Claw, he usually prefers to let his claws do the talking.

Pike - a good Male-Aspected 28th-level Divine Champion (Children of the Lightbulb)
Mortal / Paladin / Divine Champion

Pike is a former mining company employee, known for being quiet but good-natured and hard-working. After a tunnel he was in collapsed, he narrowly survived and dug himself out - but found that he had somehow emerged in Katherine Cemetery. He's not really quite sure how that happened, but being pretty laid back he hasn't worried about it too much, he's just been wandering around helping fix things and fight bad guys. Having never felt really at home in Paradise, he's moved in with the Children of the Lightbulb.

Second Chance Joey - an evil Male-Aspected 30th-level Eternal Soldier (NRA Nutjobs)
Mortal / Myrmidon / Eternal Soldier

A former gunslinger from the Wild West, Second Chance Joey's one moment of compassion when he was alive got him killed - but it also earned him a chance to redeem himself by fighting in the Nexus. Unfortunately so far he's done nothing but screw up that second chance by shooting people, but there's always hope, right? He's got a twitchy trigger finger and is easily frightened by some things (such as the Hayden Stadium Phantom) - his usual reaction to fright is to unload all his available firearms in the direction of whatever scared him. He's found a number of like-minded individuals in the NRA Nutjobs, and has the greatest respect for Mr. Shooty, his boss. Occasionally suffers from mild delusions, such as thinking he's a cop. He also considers himself good friends with Phil, the owner of Phil's Arms and Ammo.

Stormcrow - a wandering 30th-level Nexus Champion (formerly of The Hellbound Club)
Mortal / Myrmidon / Nexus Champion

Stormcrow is an enigmatic figure, a nomadic wanderer whose appearance always seems to precede some great disaster - for instance, arriving in Saint Germaine three days before the hurricane that swept the islands right off the map. Had joined up with the Hellbound Club, a group of individuals who seemed to share Stormcrow's sense of randomness and whimsy, but recently discovered the rest of them had all vanished off the map! If you have any information on the current location of Hellbound the Explorer, please contact Stormcrow ASAP. In his current day-to-day life, Stormcrow enjoys food, booze, Visual Prestidigitation, watching people attack him and miss repeatedly, and long walks on the beach.

Toben - an evil 30th-level Wyrm Master (Oblivion Squadron)
Mortal / Defiler / Wyrm Master

Toben is an evil being whose experiments into raising and controlling both living and dead creatures not only led to his own death, but gave rise to the feared hive-mind zombie known as Toben the Many in another demiplane. Upon death, Toben's soul found itself in the Nexus, and quickly resumed experimenting, still with the ultimate aim in mind of controlling a vast horde of utterly obedient minions. Of course, there's no truth to the rumor that the potions he produces for Oblivion Squadron are occasionally laced with experimental mind-control drugs... ;) Toben recently managed to create a potted-plant/digital-camera hybrid which he found extremely useful for certain side-projects of his...unfortunately the plant was stolen shortly afterwards. (If you feel you may have information regarding this crime, please contact Toben immediately!) He (usually) has a cell phone, so feel free to drop him a line.

Toben's latest project has been the launch of IMPtv, producing all manner of new and, erm, unusual film programs with the help of his dedicated, loyal, obedient, steadfast, and bumblingly incompetent imp film crew.

Tyrael - a good Male-Aspected 30th-level Seraph (The Divine Army)
Mortal / Paladin / Seraph

Tyrael was once an Archangel in the far-off world of Sanctuary, but after an investigation by his superiors into his handling of the notorious Soulstone Incident, he was disciplined by being stripped of his powers and made mortal, forced to work his way back up the ranks again. This he has been doing quite quickly, although the entire affair has left him with a number of psychological issues: a fanatical hatred for Diablo, Mephisto and Baal, an intense dislike of people who too closely resemble certain fantasy-character-archetypes, a great deal less trust of authority, and a serious drinking problem.

The new arrivals (were not in Alpha):

[???] - a 30th-level Elementalist (No Faction)
Mortal / Sorcerer / Elementalist

Hurricanes are awesome.

King No One - a neutral 29th-level Revenant (Murder Inc.)
Mortal / Myrmidon / Revenant

An escaped inmate from a place he refers to as "The Cradle". Ruthless, pyschotic, and strangely obsessed with wax. Drifted away from the Gangsters of Edgetown, wandered Purgatorio a bit, and has just fallen in with Murder Inc., who seem to have impressed Asmodeus somehow, and Asmodeus 'suggested' they might be a good fit.

Hangin' Judge - a good 20th-level Lightspeaker (The Quick and the Dead)
Mortal / Shepherd / Lightspeaker

Hangin' Judge is a throwback to the Wild West, an obsessive avatar of justice with a notable lack of conscience...a definite zealot-in-the-making. If you run into him and think there might be any reason he might find you guilty, well, just watch out for his lynch mob...
