This is not a single creature but instead a large pack of small rodents: rats, mice, ferrets. They move about the area in a manner that is almost liquid.
A Vermin Swarm is a Pet that is summoned by the Revenant skill Summon Vermin Swarm. Vermin swarms act as a collective pet, despite being composed of hundreds (if not thousands) of individual creatures.
You can have a maximum of one Vermin Swarm or Bat Swarm at a time.
